Magic to Honor Fans with Fan Appreciation Night
14 season ticket holders and 14 community partners will receive a game-worn jersey

Orlando, FL-- The Orlando Magic will honor their fans when they host Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, April 15 as they face the Charlotte Bobcats at Amway Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 8 p.m. and doors will open at 7 p.m.

Highlighting Fan Appreciation Night will be a jersey presentation to 14 randomly selected Magic season ticket holders and 14 community partners, who will each receive a game-worn jersey from a Magic player prior to the tip-off of the game. Also, nine finalists of the FANtastic Sweepstakes will participate in an on-court contest to determine the winner of the 2010 KIA SOUL and other great prizes from EMBARQ. The night will also include a number of activities centered around the fans, including pre-game festivities and in-game activities.

Additional highlights include:

• Magic Dancers will be signing autographs on the concourse.

• Fans will be able to get Magic employee pricing (40% off) on merchandise (some exclusions apply).

• The Aleve Hustle Player of the Year and the Subway Sub of the Year will be announced in a halftime presentation.

• Fans will not want to miss the countdown to Blue and White Ignite for the 2009 Playoffs, where an Orlando Magic player will address the crowd prior to tip-off.

• The community partners who will be presented with a game-worn jersey prior to the game are:

The Sharing Center, Central Florida Police Academy, Justice & Peace, After School All-Stars, House of Freedom, Girls and Boys Town, Foundation for Orange County Public Schools, Quest, Bridges of Light, CFDFL, Every Kid Outreach, Midway Safe Harbor, Orlando Rescue Mission and Michelee Puppets.

• Watch entertainment selected by the fans, including Quick Change performing at halftime and the Orlando Magic Dunking Dancers! Dwight Howard bobbleheads, presented by Pepsi, will also be given away to the first 5,000 fans, as voted on by the fans.
